Online Tools for DNS, CHMOD, Data URLs

I’ve always liked the idea of having an “Asides” category for links, notes, and other miscellaneous debris. So here is the first aside post, classified in the newly established asides tag (woo-hoo!). Here are three awesome tools to optimize your workflow.

• DNS Propagation Checker – See where your DNS is resolving around the world, in real time.
• CHMOD Calculator – Quick & easy calculation of CHMOD permissions settings for your files and directories.
• Data URI Generator – Convert images into data URLs (base64-encoded) to decrease page load time.

These online tools are super useful and always FREE :)
