20 Years Online

This year, Perishable Press celebrates 20 years on the World Wide Web. And, not counting the occasional minor bouts of site downtime, that’s 7,305 days, which is equivalent to 175,320 hours. Or 10,512,000 minutes. Or 631,139,040 seconds if you want to really be impressed. For me, two decades is a real milestone. Continue reading »

Perishable Press 14th B-Day

[ 14th Birthday ]

Perishable Press turns 14 this year! Amazing how quickly time flies, especially when you enjoy your work. This site started back in early 2005. I remember reading a ton of books on web design, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and everything in between. I soaked it all up like a sponge, and then practiced my new skills by developing Perishable Press, writing articles, sharing code, and helping all sorts of awesome people wherever possible. Truly an amazing journey that I hope continues […] Continue reading »

[ Perishable Press Turns 4. ]

Time flies! Perishable Press celebrates its fourth year online during this Fall season. Let’s take a brisk stroll down memory lane.. During the site’s first year, I remember being too excited for my own good. WordPress was relatively new and I was completely inspired […] Continue reading »

Three Years and Counting

Perishable Press is three years old! I first launched the site during August/September of 2005 using the cutting-edge B2-Evolution blogging engine. To celebrate the second anniversary of Perishable Press, I am taking the day off! So to fill the virtual cyber-vacuum left in the utter absence of today’s regularly scheduled post, allow me to highlight a few of my favorite articles from our second year sharing content and helping people online: Continue reading »

One Year Anniversary

Perishable Press recently celebrated its one-year anniversary! Well, okay, so nobody really celebrated anything, but we did take note as our first anniversary both came and went. Yeah, …uh, actually, no one is even quite sure of the actual anniversary date. But we do know it has been a little over one year since we began all of this time-consuming nonsense.. –Whatever!! Thoughts
I disabled AI in Google search results. It was making me lazy.
Went out walking today and soaked up some sunshine. It felt good.
I have an original box/packaging for 2010 iMac if anyone wants it free let me know.
Always ask AI to cite its sources. Also: “The Web” is not a valid answer.
All free plugins updated and ready for WP 6.6 dropping next week. Pro plugin updates in the works also complete :)
99% of video thumbnail/previews are pure cringe. Goofy faces = Clickbait.
