CLB Plus seamlessly integrates the code necessary for modern browsers to automatically detect and update any RSS feed available from the current page, enabling readers to stay current with important news and updates.
About the plugin
Category LiveBookmarks Plus also makes it easy to add category feed links to posts, comments, pages, or anywhere else within your site. Simply add the <? clb_plus(); ?> function to the desired location within your blog, and there enjoy a contextually relevant selection of completely customizable RSS feed links. There are also options to include RSS feed links for “all posts” and “all comments”, as well as settings to customize markup, icons, and feed links. Plus, as of version 1.7.7, there are options to display a custom set of category links next to feed links, which may include comment counts and RSS-icon links.
With CLB+, you may customize category feeds for the various WordPress view types (e.g., category views, page views). CLB automatically omits feeds with zero posts, and also excludes subcategory feeds. Further, this plugin produces strictly valid XHTML markup.
Installation and Usage
- Unzip php file and add to wp-content/plugins directory.
- Open php file and adjust any of the “CLB OPTIONS”, if desired.
- Add the following function call to your sidebar or any other location:

<head>automatically. No further action required. - Feed links will be added to the
<body>wherever the function call (from step 3) is located.

Simon, as you have already discovered, there is a simple hack for showing subcategories in either CLB function. To show subcats, delete the following qualifier from line 150 and/or line 233:
"
AND category_parent = 0"That’s it! CLB+ should now include feed links for all categories. Thanks, Simon, for pointing this out.
Hello, nice plugin but how i can place only rss icon about my in sidebar.php?
when i call – i got url to feed with categoryes but i want post my wp_list_cats with icons rss and every icons – url to rss feed, how to create thich one?

If I understand you correctly, you would like to produce a list of text-name category links along with their corresponding RSS icons as feed links, so that clicking the category name (text) will open the category view, and clicking the feed link (icon) will produce that category’s RSS feed. Is that the case, or have I misinterpreted your question?

Okay, new version (1.7.7) of CLB+ now availble. The new version features a highly configurable set of options that will enable you to create category links next to their corresponding feed links. There are also options for including RSS icons and category post counts. Check out the new version via the download link above. Enjoy!

I have made the necessary changes to accomodate the requested output format. Download the new version (above) and have a look around in the configuration section. There, you should see options for configuring category links, etc. Play around and check out some of the different combinations that are available.
