88Teeth Site Redesign

Anatomical Abstraction
Longtime friend and fellow-DLa member ThaneC recently has updated his personal slash portfolio site, eightyeightteeth.com. With the help of Monzilla Media, ThaneC’s site has been completely redesigned and reorganized, featuring easy navigation and generous presentation of core content. Every page is overflowing with creative juice — thumbnail galleries of artistic works, digital photos, and custom wallpapers are a pleasure to browse. Full-size versions of each creative piece “pop-up” upon command. ThaneC’s unpretentious wit and artistic sincerity furnish each page with insightful commentary and inside information concerning each delicious offering. Designed according to the principles of modern web design, ThaneC’s site now employs the efficiency and flexibility of HTML and CSS, rounded out with a touch of unobtrusive JavaScript to make it all sweet.

This website constitutes an ethereal representation of the very physical reality my sketchbook represents. The sketchbook is a creative extension of my subconscious, and frequently, conscious thoughts – an enigmatic disclosure of imaginative processes. This ongoing pursuit is supplemented with enjoyment of graphic design, photographic and digital arts. Currently, I am based in Portland, Oregon and pursue these creative outlets in my leisure time.

For as long as I have known him, ThaneC has been producing high-quality drawings, sketches, and other creative works. Since 2001, ThaneC has shared many of his favorite drawings and electronic creations online. Over the course of the past several years, ThaneC has been updating his site with choice selections from his vast offline art archive and digital photography portfolio. And, as if inspiring drawings and photos weren’t enough, ThaneC also shares a fine collection of home-grown desktop wallpapers and other digital mayhem. Indeed, plenty of hand-crafted and genuinely inspirational material to get the creative juices flowing.

And best of all? ThaneC’s new personal/portfolio site is completely free of advertising and other distractions. Rather, it is completely focused on sharing and discussing choice works from ThaneC’s ever-expanding artistic universe. Indeed, ThaneC’s new site not only delivers the creative goods, it does so via a well-designed, user-friendly interface that conveys the essence of all things eightyeightteeth.

So drop in and check it out, grab a few tasty wallpapers, download some choice chunks, and even send ThaneC an email of appreciative gratitude for sharing his inspired collection with us, undeserving, anonymous visitors ;)

Too much caffeine weirds me out. But I love the taste of coffee. So once in a while I enjoy a small cup of decaf. Hits the spot.

Excel won't open CSV file because SYLK format? Open it with text editor and add an apostrophe ' at the beginning of the file, save changes, done.
Displaying too many social media buttons and links all over the place imho makes you look desperate and frankly kinda sad.
