SSL checker

Excellent (and free) tool for getting tons of site SSL infos: whynopadlock.com

Stay home

Everyone just stay home and hide forever. Brilliant idea.

Edge on macOS

Playing with Microsoft Edge browser on macOS. It’s like 1998 all over again.

Colors and fonts

Nice site for browsing colors and fonts.

WordPress Admin framework

This new Admin Page Framework looks very good. Bookmarked for future use.

Finding new plugins

Two great places to find awesome plugins: pluginsearch.com and WP’s browse new.

CSS two things

2 things I hate to see in stylesheets: _ and #

VLC media player

Love VLC media player but it fails miserably when it comes to randomizing large collections of mp3 and other files.

Should have kept the filigree

Dashlane redesigned, stating proudly they “removed all filigree”. Should have kept it; the app now looks generic and boring. Killed your identity.

PDF stamping

Working on integration for setaPDF + EDD on the new books subdomain. Good times.

Show hidden files on Mac

Toggle visibility of hidden files on Mac: Cmd + Shift + .

Cache checker

Great tool for checking browser caching for web pages and all included files.

Books subdomain

Now working on the books subdomain for Perishable Press.

14 Kilobytes

The new minimalist design styled by 14KB of CSS (uncompressed and un-minified). That covers 850+ posts and pages spanning 15 years of diverse content.

Placeholder support

Amazing (and sad) to think that, in the year 2020, Internet Explorer still doesn’t support the placeholder attribute, which is supported by all other major browsers.

Winter redesign

Finishing up with the latest redesign for Perishable Press! Should be live this week or early next.

Thoughts
Had a good laugh today when I saw this in a support email: “In observance of Arbor Day our team will be out of the office on Friday, April 30th.” Lol Arbor Day.
Just spent a few minutes scrolling thru FB, almost every ad was pushing the va×.
On macOS when an app won’t hide, you can force it by holding the ⌥ (option) key and clicking anywhere on the desktop.
Currently having a blast redesigning Plugin Planet, so much work so little time.
Thanks to David McCan over at WebTNG for the awesome BBQ Pro review.
Enjoyed a nice mini-vacation with my fam. Great way to recharge and regroup.
