Q. “Are you a book publisher?”
A. Not primarily. Several decades ago, there was a series of books published under the name The Perishable Press. Although such books remain advertised online, we have nothing to do with them. Our namesake derives from Perishable, a multimedia artist, designer, and writer. Our website, perishablepress.com, serves as an online resource providing personal data, web news, design info, and other bits of written propaganda. This site, Perishable Press, may include information about publishing, but actually focuses on the myriad creative endeavours — art, design, photography, websites, etc. — experienced by Perishable and his mysterious band of anonymous, imaginary friends.
Q. “Do you accept donations? How can I show support?”
A. Perishable Press is a labor of love. I do it because it inspires me to no end. Every detail of this site (when working correctly) is carefully handcrafted and deliberately employed. I could never sell advertisements on this site, nor could I accept a donation for the work I have put into it. Thus, the best way to show support is with a little link love: bookmark it, share it, blog it, and link it!
