As frequently repeated questions surface, we will respond and post them here.
Question: “Are you a book publisher?”
Answer: Not primarily. Several decades ago, there was a series of books published under the name The Perishable Press. Although such books remain advertised online, this site has nothing to do with them. The site’s namesake derives from the name Perishable, a multimedia artist, designer, and writer. The site, Perishable Press, is all about web design and related topics.
Question: “Okay then, so what’s this site about?”
Answer: Perishable Press serves as an online resource providing design-related code and tutorials (plus a bunch of other stuff). Perishable Press may include information about book publishing, but the focus remains on providing quality code & tutorials for WordPress, web design and everything in between. For more information, check out the About Page.
Question: “Do you accept donations? How can I show support?”
Answer: Perishable Press is a labor of love. I do it because it inspires me to no end. Every detail of this site (when working correctly) is carefully handcrafted and deliberately employed. The best way to show support is with some good old-fashioned link love: if something has helped, please link, tweet and share with your friends. And if you can’t link or share, please click on my sponsor’s advertisements in the sidebar – they’re the ones who pay the bills, so that’s a great way to show appreciation.
Question: “Can I advertise on your site?”
Answer: Yes, the site has numerous advertising opportunities, and I’m always interested in hearing new ideas.
Question: “How do I contact you?”
Answer: Here are the best ways to contact me:
