Open Call for Guest Posts at Perishable Press

After much deliberation, I have decided to take a short vacation away from the computer. I have been working like a dog recently, and feel that a change of pace would help recharge the ‘ol brain cells. I haven’t decided exactly when it will be, but I am thinking that some time off in August (my favorite month) would be swell. Maybe go to the coast, do some traveling, take a long nap, or whatever. Technically, I haven’t taken a break from blogging here at Perishable Press in almost three years! So it’s definitely time..
Generally, I like to post three or four times a week, depending on my schedule. As most of you know, I like to post quality articles on just about anything related to Web development, graphic design, blogging, social media, SEO, site security, and just about anything related to technology, creativity, and design. Given a two-week hiatus, I am asking for help with around seven or eight guest posts, preferably from a few different authors.
As for the preferred topic and length of each post, I am leaving it pretty much open to just about anything. As long as the content is original and well-written, everything else will be left up to the author. I will be available to facilitate the technical details involved with the actual posting of the articles, image-uploading, and so on. In addition to any links and information presented in the article, each post will also feature official “Guest-post” information, including as much (or as little) biographical information (and links) as you would like.
This is the first time I have opened the site up to guest posts, so I hope that you will consider sharing your knowledge with the 600+ subscribers and 2500+ daily visitors here at Perishable Press. As mentioned, the guest posts will be scheduled for sometime in August, so if you are interested in helping out, please contact me within the next week or so (i.e., as soon as possible). If the response is great, I will consider posting a few extra articles; conversely, if I hear crickets chirping, I’ll certainly have something to think about while chilling at the beach! ;)

Hey, vacations are the best part of work! LOL! I’d love to contribute, but I’ll have to scour your content to see if I could write about something you’ve never done before.
PS: Go to the beach. There’s nothing better than finding a quiet spot on the beach and listening to the ocean. No clicking of keyboard keys, angry clients, or bickering bloggers to e-hear. LOL! :)
